Jennifer Nicole Yencarelli

Jennifer “Jenny” Yencarelli is a founding partner of J&J Legal, PLLC.   Her practice spans all aspects of real estate law, corporate formation, corporate governance, commercial transactions, and bankruptcy. Prior to starting this Firm, Ms. Yencarelli was a partner at a large Florida law firm, litigating complex and other general civil litigation matters from pre-suit through trial. This allowed her to learn the value of a properly drafted agreement and the detrimental effects of boilerplate forms and copy and paste legalese. She understands the risks and expense of litigation and is committed to helping clients develop strategies to minimize future disputes and avoid potential litigation.

Ms. Yencarelli has extensive experience litigating in federal court and is well versed in the Bankruptcy Code.   Prior to entering private practice, she served two years as Senior Law Clerk to the Honorable Mary S. Scriven, United States District Court Judge for the Middle District of Florida, handling several bankruptcy appeals during her tenure. She is admitted to every federal court in the state of Florida as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.   While an Assistant Attorney General at the Florida Office of the Attorney General, Ms. Yencarelli’s accomplishments on the Mortgage Fraud Task Force and in Antitrust Litigation earned her a Distinguished Service Award.   This experience allowed Ms. Yencarelli to gain extensive insight into residential real estate transactions and the mortgage industry as well as antitrust issues facing new and established businesses—price-fixing, exclusive dealing, customer allocation agreements, predatory pricing, monopolization and vertical/horizontal restraints.

At age 23, Ms. Yencarelli was the youngest in her class to graduate with a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law. Ms. Yencarelli graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a minor in Business Administration. Through her hard work, she was able to finance 100% of her undergraduate education and a substantial portion of her graduate education through academic scholarships. It is this unfettered work ethic that drives Ms. Yencarelli to provide the solve to clients, helping them achieve their goals as expeditiously and cost-effectively as possible.
